Color Guard Try Outs

The Color Guard team is holding try outs next week (May 13th thru May 17th).

There will be 3-4 sessions held that week.  2-3 sessions will be to teach you the routine and the final session is to see how well you know the routine.

It is important to be at all sessions so you don't miss any instruction.

Show up Monday May 13th for all the information on days sessions will be held.

Times are after school from 2:40-3:40 each session. (subject to change)

Flower Sale

We have started taking orders for the Mother's Day Flower Sale.

We need students to encourage their friends to buy flowers for mom.

Flowers will arrive on Thursday evening and we are putting together vases Thursday night at 6pm in the band room - any volunteers are greatly welcome and the hours will be turned in for service hours.

Flowers will be available for students to pick up Friday after school.

Vallejo

There is a trip planned for this weekend May 111th to go to Vallejo to perform.

This was originally supposed to be for Concert Band only - HOWEVER, it has been divulged to BJ that in order for the concert band to perform we have to participate in the review as well.

ALL BAND MEMBERS WHO ARE AVAILABLE ARE ASKED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.

There is a bus that will be taking the kids over - parents do not have to attend. 

Please let BJ know immediately if you are either able or unable to attend.

End of Year Award Ceremony

Hello All

This Wednesday, May 8th will be the OLM band award ceremony / performance.

All family and friends are invited and encouraged to come listen and cheer us on.

Students are to be dressed in modest and comfortable clothing to be worn under the band uniform (shin high black socks, black marching band shoes - Band) (white ankle socks, white shorts, white tank top and white color guard shoes - color guard) 

Students are responsible for their own ride, equipment and instruments.
